Adam Devine

Adam Devine is an actor, comedian and writer. Devine spent most of his childhood in Nebraska, and after graduating from Millard South High School, he attended Orange Coast College in California, where he met future Workaholics cocreator Blake Anderson.

Devine started his career in comedy by forming the sketch group Mail Order Comedy in 2006, which gained popularity on YouTube. His big break came in 2011 when he cocreated and starred in Workaholics on Comedy Central. He later landed a recurring role on Modern Family as Andy Bailey. From 2013 to 2016, he starred in the eponymous series Adam Devine’s House Party.

In addition to television, Devine has appeared in films including Pitch Perfect (2012) and its sequel, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016), Game Over, Man! (2018), Isn’t It Romantic (2019) and The Out-Laws (2023). He has also voiced characters in Ice Age: Collision Course (2016) and The Lego Batman Movie (2017). In 2019, he joined the cast of HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones as Kelvin Gemstone.

Devine began dating actress Chloe Bridges in 2015 after they met on the set of The Final Girls (2015). The couple got engaged in 2019 and married in October 2021. They welcomed son Beau in February 2024.
