ASAP Rocky

ASAP Rocky (born Rakim Athelaston Mayers) is a rapper and songwriter. Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Rocky became immersed in the city’s rap scene as a child. He was involved with the ASAP Mob collective as a teenager and, after spending time in shelters with his family, focused on his musical career.

Rocky rose to fame in 2011 after his single “Peso” gained radio play and his mixtape Live.Love.A$AP generated industry buzz. He signed a record deal and released his debut studio album, Long.Live.A$AP, in 2013, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He followed up with At.Long.Last.A$AP (2015) and Testing (2018), collaborating with various artists including Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator.

In addition to music, the rapper has made himself a fixture in the fashion world, collaborating with major designers and releasing his own creative agency, AWGE, in 2014.

ASAP Rocky was previously linked to several high-profile figures before confirming his relationship with Rihanna in 2021. The couple share three children: RZA (born in 2022), Riot (born in 2023) and Rocki (born in 2025).
