
Chad Lowe
Chad Lowe is an American actor and director, best known for roles in Life Goes On, Pretty Little Liars and Melrose Place.
Lowe, who is the younger brother of fellow actor Rob Lowe, has been performing since the 1980s. His credits also include Silence of the Heart, True Blood, Highway to Hell, Trading Favors, Now and Again, Supergirl and Young Justice. Chad has also recurred on Rob’s firefighting series 9-1-1: Lone Star between 2022 and 2024.
Chad is also an accomplished TV director, helming episodes of 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Flash, Life in Pieces, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Light As a Feather and 15 episodes of PLL. On Freeform’s PLL, he also played Byron, who was the father of Lucy Hale’s character, Aria.
Chad was married to actress Hilary Swank from 1997 to 2007. He later moved on with Kim Painter and they wed in 2010. Chad and Painter share three daughters.
