Chloe Kim

Chloe Kim is an Olympic gold medalist snowboarder known for her dominance in the halfpipe and her history-making performances on the world stage. Kim spent her childhood in Long Beach, California, where she was raised by South Korean immigrants. She began snowboarding at age 4 and quickly showed elite talent, training at Mammoth Mountain, California. She was homeschooled for part of her childhood to accommodate her competition schedule and later enrolled at Princeton University in 2018, first deferring enrollment and later taking a leave of absence to focus on her Olympic career.

Kim rose to international fame at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where she became the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal at age 17. She earned top scores in the women’s halfpipe, cementing her status as one of Team USA’s breakout stars. Prior to the Olympics, she had already made history at the Winter X Games, winning multiple gold medals as a teenager. She has continued to collect X Games titles and added a second Olympic gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Games. In 2026, she secured silver in women’s halfpipe at the Milan Winter Olympics.

In 2021, she founded the women’s sports brand TOGETHXR alongside fellow athletes Sue Bird, Simone Manuel and Alex Morgan.

Kim entered a relationship with NFL player Myles Garrett in early 2025, and the two went public with their relationship later that year.
