
David Guetta
David Guetta is a French DJ, record producer and songwriter known as one of the most successful figures in electronic dance music. Born in Paris, France, Guetta began experimenting with DJing in his teenage years. He started hosting club nights in the 1980s and became a fixture in the Parisian nightlife scene.
Guetta rose to international prominence in the early 2000s with the release of his debut album, Just a Little More Love (2002). He followed up with Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007), but his 2009 album One Love, propelled him into global stardom with singles like “When Love Takes Over” and “Memories.” He went on to release chart-topping tracks including “Without You,” “Titanium” and “Play Hard,” working with stars such as Sia, Usher, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. Guetta has won multiple awards, including two Grammys, and has continued to headline festivals worldwide while maintaining residencies in Ibiza and Las Vegas.
Guetta married Cathy Lobé in 1992. The couple, who also worked together professionally, divorced in 2014. They share two children: son Tim (born in 2004) and daughter Angie (born in 2007). He has since been linked to model Jessica Ledon, with whom he welcomed a child, son Cyan, in 2024.
