
Katharine McPhee
Katharine McPhee was the runner-up on American Idol season 5, which aired in 2006. She released her eponymous debut album in 2007, followed by Unbroken (2010), Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You (2010), Hysteria (2015) and I Fall in Love Too Easily (2017).
McPhee made her acting debut in the 2008 comedy The House Bunny. McPhee also starred as Karen Cartwright on NBC’s Smash from 2012 to 2013 and as Paige Dineen on CBS’ Scorpion from 2014 to 2018. She made her Broadway debut in the lead role of Waitress in 2018 and reprised the role in a 2019 West End production.
The singer was previously married to actor Nick Cokas, but they divorced in 2014. She dated Scorpion costar Elyes Gabel for two years until 2016. McPhee announced her engagement to record producer David Foster in 2018. The pair tied the knot the following year and welcomed son Rennie in 2021.
