Dax Shepard

Actor Dax Shepard rose to fame when he starred on MTV’s Punk’d (2003 – 2007) and on NBC’s Parenthood (2010-2015). He graduated magna cum laude from UCLA, where he studied anthropology. While in college, he trained at The Groundlings Theater for improv and sketch comedy, which led him to his role on MTV and launched his acting career in Los Angeles.

Shepard continued to take on roles in films including Idiocracy, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Baby Mama. In 2010, Shepard was cast in When in Rome alongside Kristen Bell, whom he was dating at the time.

In 2007, Shepard briefly dated Kate Hudson after her breakup from Owen Wilson. Soon after Shepard’s split breakup with Hudson, he began dating Kristen Bell the same year. He proposed to his When in Rome costar over the holidays, and his bride-to-be debuted her engagement ring at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

In March 2013, Shepard and Bell welcomed their first daughter, Lincoln, and got married the following October. They had their second daughter, Delta, in December 2014.
