
Dean Sheremet
Dean Sheremet is a chef, author and former backup dancer best known for his high-profile marriage to singer LeAnn Rimes and appearances on cooking and lifestyle shows.
Sheremet, who spent his childhood in Michigan and began dancing at a young age, appeared in music videos and performances for various artists before meeting Rimes while working as a backup dancer at the 2001 Academy of Country Music Awards. He gained public attention after marrying Rimes later that year. Following his time in the entertainment industry, Sheremet transitioned into the culinary world.
He trained at the French Culinary Institute in New York and worked in Michelin-starred kitchens before publishing his cookbook Eat Your Heart Out (2016). Sheremet has appeared on Good Day L.A., My Kitchen Rules and The Talk, and he has contributed to food and lifestyle publications.
Sheremet and Rimes married in 2002 and divorced in 2010 following her affair with actor Eddie Cibrian. He was later married to photographer Sarah Silver, and Us Weekly confirmed the pair divorced in 2011. He moved on with Vanessa Black, and the twosome tied the knot in 2018. They welcomed son Atlas (2020) before divorcing in 2021. He then got engaged to HGTV’s Sabrina Soto, but the pair called it off in 2022.
