
Drew Starkey
Drew Starkey (born Joseph Andrew Starkey) is an actor best known for playing Rafe Cameron on Netflix’s hit series Outer Banks. Starkey grew up in North Carolina with his three siblings. He attended Western Carolina University, where he graduated with a degree in English and theater. He later decided to pursue acting full time.
Starkey began his career with minor roles in television, appearing on Ozark, Dead Silent and Good Behavior. In 2018, landed a role in the romcom Love, Simon, acting alongside Nick Robinson. His breakthrough came in 2020 when he was cast as Rafe Cameron in Outer Banks, a role that made him a fan favorite.
Following his success on Outer Banks, Starkey landed roles in The Devil All the Time (2020), Hellraiser (2022) and Queer (2024). The actor will reprise his role as Rafe Cameron in the fifth and final season of Outer Banks, set to release in 2025.
