Madelyn Cline

Madelyn Cline is an actress best known for playing Sarah Cameron on Netflix’s hit teen drama Outer Banks. Born in Goose Creek, South Carolina, Cline began modeling in her early teens, appearing in national commercials before shifting her focus to acting. After high school, she briefly attended Coastal Carolina University but left to pursue her career full-time in Los Angeles.

Cline landed early roles in series including Stranger Things and The Originals, earning her first big-screen credit in the 2018 psychological drama Boy Erased. Her breakthrough came in 2020 when she was cast opposite Chase Stokes in Outer Banks. The series quickly became a streaming success and turned Cline into a breakout star.

Cline later expanded her film career with her role in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022), in which she acted alongside Daniel Craig and Kate Hudson. In 2025, she starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer, appearing in The Map That Leads To You (2025) later that year.

The actress dated her Outer Banks costar Stokes from 2020 to 2021. She moved on with Jackson Guthy from 2022 to 2023. She was later linked to Pete Davidson, with the pair dating in 2023 before splitting the following year.
