Best known for his role on the Fox drama House, Hugh Laurie began his career by breaking into British television.
The multi-talented actor is also a skilled writer, having penned articles for publication in London’s The Daily Telegraph.
The British-born actor has been married to Jo Green since June 1989. The couple has three children.
Laurie made himself known to American audiences through his work on the Stuart Little film series. The actor has been featured as Dr. Gregory House since the Fox show’s inception in 2004. For his work on the series, Laurie was presented with a Best Actor Golden Globe at the 2005 ceremony. Due to his sudden increase in popularity, the House star hosted Saturday Night Live in October 2006. To cap off Laurie’s banner year, he was nominated for a 2007 Best Actor Golden Globe for his House role.
