Before turning to acting, actress Jenna Dewan was a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera and more.

She got her big break with acting in the dance movie Step Up. She has since become a staple on TV, with roles on Witches of East End, Supergirl and American Horror Story: Asylum, among other TV shows. She was also the host of World of Dance. In recent years, Dewan has nabbed roles on The Resident and The Rookie.

In Step Up, she starred opposite Channing Tatum, whom she married in 2009. The couple welcomed daughter Everly in 2013 before divorcing in 2018. Dewan moved on with fiancé Steve Kazee, who proposed in February 2020, and the couple welcomed son Callum one month later. Dewan announced that she was pregnant with the couple’s second child together in January 2024. They welcomed daughter Rhiannon the following June.
