Brooke Burke

Brooke Burke is a television personality, model, fitness entrepreneur and actress best known for hosting Wild On!, winning Dancing With the Stars and later cohosting the ABC competition series. Burke moved from Hartford, Connecticut, to Tucson, Arizona, after her parents divorced when she was 2. She graduated from Palo Verde High School, where she was homecoming queen in 1989. She later studied broadcast journalism at UCLA while pursuing modeling.

Burke began modeling as a teenager before moving to Los Angeles and building a career in television. She hosted E!’s Wild On! from 1999 to 2002 before moving on to CBS’ Rock Star: INXS (2005) and Rock Star: Supernova (2006). In 2008, she competed on season 7 of Dancing With the Stars with Derek Hough and won the mirrorball trophy. She went on to cohost the series alongside Tom Bergeron for eight seasons from 2010 to 2013.

Burke’s other television credits include She’s Got the Look, Hidden Heroes and Melissa & Joey. She has also appeared in The New Celebrity Apprentice and hosted the game show Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Beyond television, Burke has built a career in fitness and launched the Brooke Burke Body platform in 2017.

Burke was married to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher from 2001 to 2005. They share daughters Neriah (born in 2000) and Sierra (born in 2002). She married actor and singer David Charvet in 2011 after welcoming daughter Heaven Rain (born in 2007) and son Shaya Braven (born in 2008). Their divorce was finalized in 2020. Burke became engaged to Scott Rigsby in 2021 after two years of dating.
