Kate Bosworth was born January 2, 1983 in Los Angeles, Calif. She was born with sectoral heterochromia, meaning she has one hazel and one blue eye, which has become her trademark.

Bosworth started in Hollywood with 1998’s The Horse Whisperer, and got big-screen attention with 2002’s Blue Crush. While the movie wasn’t considered a success, it brought Bosworth to fame.
