Kelly Monaco

Kelly Monaco is an actress and model best known for her role as Sam McCall on General Hospital. Monaco attended Northampton Community College, where she studied communications before pursuing a career in modeling and entertainment.

Monaco first gained recognition as a model, landing a spread in Playboy in 1997. She later transitioned to acting, scoring a role on the drama Baywatch. She later joined the cast of Port Charles and earned her first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2003. That same year, she signed on to soap opera General Hospital as Sam McCall, a role that earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination. She left the show in 2024.

The actress went on to compete on the first season of Dancing With the Stars and took home the mirrorball trophy.

She announced herself as the cohost of the podcast “Bad Bunnies” alongside Shanna Moakler in March 2025.

She was in an 18-year relationship with high school sweetheart Mike Gonzalez until the pair split in 2009.
