
Kerr Smith
Kerr Smith is an American actor best known for his role as Jack McPhee on Dawson’s Creek. Smith was born in Exton, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Henderson High School in 1990. He went on to attend the University of Vermont, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Smith got his acting start appearing in various commercials before securing a role on As the World Turns in the mid-1990s. After moving to Los Angeles in 1998, he landed his breakout role as Jack McPhee on Dawson’s Creek. He made history portraying the first character to have an on screen gay kiss on prime time television, and remained on the show until its end in 2003.
His notable later work includes Final Destination (2000), The Forsaken (2001), My Bloody Valentine (2009), Life Unexpected, E-Ring and Charmed. In 2021, he made an appearance on Fox’s The Resident.
Smith tied the knot with actress Harmoni Everett in 2003, and the two divorced in 2009.
