Kevin McKidd

Kevin McKidd initially pursued engineering at the University of Edinburgh before shifting to acting through his involvement with the university’s Bedlam Theatre. He rose to fame with his breakout role as Tommy in Trainspotting (1996) and later gained acclaim for his performances in Kingdom of Heaven (2005) and as the voice of Lord MacGuffin in Pixar’s Brave (2012). On television, McKidd portrayed Lucius Vorenus in HBO’s Rome (2005–2007) and has starred as Dr. Owen Hunt on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy since 2008.

In his personal life, McKidd was married to Jane Parker from 1999 to 2017, with whom he shares two children. He later married Arielle Goldrath in 2018 and they had two children before separating in 2022. In 2023, McKidd began dating actress Danielle Savre, who starred in the Grey’s spinoff Station 19.
