Kyle MacLachlan

Kyle MacLachlan is an acclaimed actor known for collaborating with late director David Lynch. In January 2025, MacLachlan paid tribute to the late David Lynch, reflecting on their 40-year creative partnership and expressing deep gratitude for Lynch’s impact on his career. MacLachlan made his film debut as Paul Atreides in Lynch’s Dune (1984) and gained further recognition for his role as Jeffrey Beaumont in Blue Velvet (1986). MacLachlan also played FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper in the TV series Twin Peaks (1990–1991, 2017), for which he won a Golden Globe. Beyond Lynch’s works, he has appeared in films like The Hidden (1987) and Showgirls (1995).

The actor has also left his mark on several iconic TV shows. He played Trey MacDougal, Charlotte’s first husband, on Sex and the City and later joined Desperate Housewives as Orson Hodge, Bree’s second husband. Other credits include Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Portlandia and Fallout.

In addition to acting, MacLachlan owns the wine label Pursued by Bear in Washington State, showcasing his passion for winemaking.

MacLachlan has been married to publicist Desiree Gruber since 2002, and the couple shares a son, Callum, born in 2008.
