Marc Anthony

Marc Anthony is a four-time Grammy Award winner known for his ballads and Latin salsa numbers. He began his career as a session vocalist, backing Menudo and Latin Rascals. He went on to release albums Rebel (1988), Toto a su tiempo (1995), Libre (2001), Iconos (2010) and 3.0 (2013).

Anthony landed supporting roles in 1995’s Hackers and 1996’s Big Night and The Substitute. He appeared opposite Salma Hayek in the 2001 film In the Time of the Butterflies and opposite Denzel Washington in 2004’s Man on Fire. He and his now-ex-wife Jennifer Lopez starred on the Latin series Q’Viva! The Chosen, in which they traveled across 21 countries in search of new talent. Anthony guest-mentored on season 2 of The X Factor and played Gapo in the musical film In the Heights (2021).

Anthony previously dated Debbie Rosado from 1993 to 1995, welcoming daughter Arianna in 1994 and adopting son Chase the following year. Anthony was engaged to Claudette Lali, splitting in 1998. Anthony then married former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres in 2000 and welcomed sons Cristian and Ryan in 2001 and 2003, respectively, before separating in 2003. Their divorce was finalized the following year. Anthony married Lopez in 2004. They welcomed twins Emme and Maximilian in 2008 but separated in 2011. Their divorce was finalized in 2014 with Lopez retaining primary physical custody of their two children. Anthony moved on with Shannon De Lima, and the two were married from 2014 to 2017. He met Miss Universe Paraguay Nadia Ferreira in 2022, and the two tied the knot in January 2023. They welcomed a son in June 2023.
