Mark Hoppus
A beloved singer, musician, songwriter and television personality, Mark Hoppus is perhaps best known as the bassist and co-vocalist for Blink-182. At age 15, the rocker was gifted a bass guitar from his father and never looked back.
After moving to San Diego for college in 1992, Hoppus’ sister introduced him to Tom DeLonge and Scott Raynor. The trio formed Blink-182, soon becoming one of the most popular punk rock bands in history. In 2015, Hoppus became the last remaining member of the original group after Raynor quit the band.
Outside of his music career, Hoppus has worked in film, TV, fashion and podcasting. After meeting at a rehearsal for his “All the Small Things” music video, the bassist married Skye Everly in December 2000. Two years later, they welcomed their son, Jack.
Hoppus revealed in June 2021 that he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
