Mayim Bialik
Actress Mayim Bialik was born in San Diego, California on December 12, 1975. She was a child actress, with her early credits including appearances on The Facts of Life, MacGyver, Webster, and Woody Allen‘s 1994 film Don’t Drink the Water. The actress also did voiceover acting fro cartoons like Johnny Bravo, Hey Arnold!, Recess, and Kim Possible.
Bialik went on to study neuroscience degree at UCLA, graduating in 2000. She then went on to earn a PhD in neuroscience from UCLA in 2007.
The California native is best known for playing the role of Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler in The Big Bang Theory, which she joined in 2010. She was nominated for four Emmy awards during her time on the show. She was a guest host and then co-host of Jeopardy from 2021 to 2023.
Bialik married Michael Stone in 2003. The couple had two sons together, and divorced in 2012 The actress has courted controversy over her political beliefs and vaccine hesitance.
