
Michael B. Jordan
Michael B. Jordan is an award-winning actor and producer best known for his work in film and television dramas and blockbuster franchises. Jordan was born in Santa Ana, California, and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He attended Newark Arts High School, where he began modeling and acting while still a student.
Jordan started his career as a child actor with small roles on television before landing recurring parts on shows like The Wire and Friday Night Lights. His breakout moment came in 2013 when he starred as Oscar Grant in Fruitvale Station, directed by frequent collaborator Ryan Coogler. His performance earned widespread critical attention and helped establish him as a Hollywood mainstay.
He went on to star as Adonis Creed in Creed (2015) and its sequels, making his directorial debut in 2023 with Creed III. He later landed the role of Erik Killmonger in Black Panther (2018), acting alongside Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong’o. In 2025, he played the role of the Smokestack Twins in Coogler’s Sinners, which became one of the highest-grossing horror films of all time.
In addition to acting, Jordan runs Outlier Society Productions, which focuses on inclusive storytelling.
Jordan began dating Lori Harvey in 2020, and the couple confirmed their relationship in 2021 before splitting the following year.
