Mikey Madison

Mikey Madison is an actress who started by working in short films. She rose to fame when she was cast as snarky teenager Max Fox in FX’s Better Things, which aired from 2016 to 2022.

In 2019, she played Susan Atkins, a member of the Manson family in Quentin Tarantino’s film Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. In 2022, she played Amber Freeman, in the first revamp of the beloved slasher franchise Scream. For her role as Ani, a Brooklyn sex worker, in 2024’s Anora she received high praise from critics and several awards nominations, earning Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Award noms. She won the Oscar for Best Actress in March 2025, weeks after winning the BAFTA in the same category.

She was raised by psychologist parents in Los Angeles, where she still lives. She has two pets: her cat, Biscuit and dog, Jam.
