Miles Teller

Miles Teller was born in Pennsylvania before relocating to Florida for much of his childhood. (Although Teller is famously a fan of Philadelphia sports teams.) The actor attended New York University and graduated in 2009 with a BFA in acting. During his time in college, Teller was in a car accident resulting in the noticeable scars that can be seen on the actor’s face during various roles.

Teller’s breakout performance came in 2013 when he starred alongside longtime friend Shailene Woodley in The Spectacular Now. (They also appeared together in the Divergent series.) Since then, he’s continued to star alongside some industry giants in movies like Whiplash, Bleed for This, Only the Brave and Top Gun: Maverick.

He started dating Keleigh Sperry in 2013 and proposed in August 2017. Two years later, the couple tied the knot during a wedding ceremony in Maui, Hawaii. The pair share a french bulldog named Bugsy. Their California house burned down in January 2025 during the L.A. fires
