Polish-American actor Paul Wesley was born in New Jersey on July 23, 1982. He is best known for his role as hunky vampire Stefan Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries.

Wesley began his career while still in high school when he nabbed a part on the soap opera Guiding Light. After high school, Wesley went to Rutgers University, but left after only one semester to accommodate his acting career. Wesley has had appearances on American Dreams, Army Wives, 24, Cane, Everwood, Smallville, 8 Simple Rules and The O.C.

Wesley married One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars actress Torrey DeVitto in 2011 after meeting on the set of Killer Movie. The couple announced their split in 2013.

He went on to date The Originals star Phoebe Tonkin for four years, but the pair separated in 2017.

He then quietly married Ines de Ramon in 2019, but the couple announced their split in September 2022 after three years of marriage. He began dating Natalie Kuckenburg soon after. Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that he filed for divorce from de Ramon in February 2023.

Wesley and Kuckenburg announced their engagement in July 2025.
