Torrey DeVitto

Torrey DeVitto is an actress and former model born in Huntington, New York. Her father was a drummer for Billy Joel, and she spent many of her early years on tour with the musician. As a result, DeVitto grew up with a strong background in music and began playing the violin at the age of 6. She later went on to study both dance and acting.

The actress got her start in modeling at 15 and shifted to acting following her high school graduation. To date, DeVitto has largely made appearances on television, with a few movie roles throughout her career. She landed her first recurring role on ABC Family’s Beautiful People as aspiring model Karen Kerr. She went on to play characters such as Dr. Meredith Fell in The Vampire Diaries, Melissa Hastings in Pretty Little Liars, Nanny Carrie in One Tree Hill and most notably, Dr. Natalie Manning in the NBC medical drama Chicago Med.

In 2011, DeVitto tied the knot with Vampire Diaries costar Paul Wesley. The couple divorced in 2013, and in 2018 she briefly dated Chicago P.D. star Jesse Lee Soffer before their split in early 2019. The actress married Jared LaPine in September 2024, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Lyle-Josephine, the following November.
