Sarah Drew is an actress and director known for her performances in television and film, particularly as Dr. April Kepner in Grey’s Anatomy. She began her career in voice acting and theater before transitioning to the screen, graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in Drama. Her breakout role came as Hannah Rogers in Everwood, soon followed by her first feature film Radio.

Drew has also appeared in and starred in other shows like Glee, Mad Men and Mistletoe Murders. In film, she starred as Allyson in Mom’s Night Out, Heather in Indivisible, Jess Waters in Christmas in Vienna and Lizabeth Meredith in Stolen by Their Father.

Drew is married to Peter Lanfer, a lecturer at Dartmouth College, and they have two children, Micah Emmanuel (born January 18, 2012) and Hannah Mali Rose (born December 3, 2014).
