Camilla Luddington

The Grey’s Anatomy actress began acting at a young age and attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. At 14, she moved to Austin, Texas, attending Westwood High School for a year before returning to England to complete her education at The American International School in England (TASIS).

She gained recognition for portraying Kate Middleton in the 2011 Lifetime TV film William & Kate: The Movie and in 2012, she joined the cast of Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Jo Wilson.

Luddington is renowned for voicing and providing motion capture for the character Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider video game series, starting with the 2013 reboot and its sequels. Luddington won the Outstanding Achievement in Character award at the 19th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards for her role in Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015).

Luddington shares a close friendship with former Grey’s Anatomy costar Jessica Capshaw. Together, they launched a podcast titled “Call It What It Is,” where they discuss various topics, including their experiences on the show and personal anecdotes.

Luddington has been in a relationship with actor Matthew Alan since 2008. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Hayden, in April 2017. They announced their engagement in January 2018 and married on August 17, 2019. Their second child, a son named Lucas, was born in August 2020.
