Adam Gottschalk

Adam Gottschalk was born in California but raised in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2012 with a degree in regional development, entrepreneurship and business management. He also joined the football team. After graduation, he worked as a real estate agent in Dallas.

Gottschalk went on to join Bachelor Nation in 2017 as a contestant on Rachel Lindsay‘s season of The Bachelorette and after being eliminated in Week 7.

Later that year, he went on season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise, where he met his future wife, Raven Gates. Gottschalk and Gates coupled up right away and ended up as one of the winners that season. While they did not get engaged on the show, they continued to date.

Gottschalk got engaged to Gates in May 2019. The couple finally got married in April 2021, after postponing their ceremony three times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The following July, the newlyweds announced that they were expecting their first child. Their son Gates Zev was born in January 2022. Their second child arrived in July 2023 on Gates’ 32nd birthday.
