Beanie Feldstein is an actress known for her roles in coming-of-age comedies and on Broadway. Feldstein was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and is the younger sister of actor Jonah Hill. She was raised in a creative family and studied acting at Stagedoor Manor as a child. She later attended Wesleyan University, graduating in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Feldstein began her career with roles in television, including appearances on My Wife and Kids and Orange Is the New Black. She gained wider recognition with supporting roles in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016) and Lady Bird (2017). Her breakout came in 2019 with the lead role in Booksmart, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. She later starred in The Humans (2021) and Drive-Away Dolls (2024) and, in 2022, she took on the role of Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl. In 2025, she joined the cast of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.

Feldstein announced her engagement to producer Bonnie-Chance Roberts in 2022. The couple married in May 2023.
