About

Bebe Rexha (born Bleta Rexha) is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and record producer. Rexha was raised in Staten Island, New York, where she began performing at a young age. She attended Tottenville High School, where she was involved in musical theater and taught herself to play multiple instruments.

Rexha got her start in the industry writing songs for other artists, including Grammy-winning hit “The Monster” by Eminem and Rihanna. She later gained early attention as the lead vocalist for the band Black Cards, formed by Pete Wentz, before launching her solo career. Her first solo EP, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up, was released in 2015 and included her breakout single “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy.”

She found commercial success with tracks like “Me, Myself & I” with G-Eazy, “In the Name of Love” with Martin Garrix and “Meant to Be,” which topped the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart for a record-breaking 50 weeks. Her debut studio album Expectations was released in 2018, for which she received her first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. This release was followed by Better Mistakes (2021) and Bebe (2023). She has received multiple Grammy nominations and collaborations with artists like Doja Cat, David Guetta and Dolly Parton.

The singer was first romantically linked to filmmaker Keyan Safyari in 2020, but the two split in 2023. She briefly moved on with Simos Liakos from late 2024 to early 2025. In 2025, she revealed she suffered a pregnancy loss following speculation about her weight gain.
