Billy Bush (born William Hall Bush) is a television and radio host best known for coanchoring Access Hollywood, hosting The Billy Bush Show and appearing briefly on Today. Billy is part of the Bush political family and is a nephew of former President George H. W. Bush and cousin of George W. Bush. He was raised in New York and attended Colby College in Maine, where he earned a degree in international studies.

Bush began his career in radio, working at WLKZ-FM in New Hampshire before moving to Washington, D.C., to host midday radio on WARW-FM. In 1997, he transitioned to television as a correspondent for Access Hollywood. He became the weekday anchor in 2004 and held the position until 2016.

Over the years, Bush hosted red carpet specials for major awards shows including the Golden Globes and the Oscars. He launched The Billy Bush Show in 2008, a nationally syndicated radio program focused on entertainment news. In 2016, he joined NBC’s Today as cohost of the 9 a.m. hour but was terminated following the release of the 2005 Access Hollywood tape involving Donald Trump. In 2019, he returned to television as host of Extra.

Bush married Sydney Davis in 1998. The couple separated in 2017 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They share three daughters: Josephine (born in 1998), Mary (born in 2000) and Lillie (born in 2004).
