Bryce Dallas Howard

Born March 2, 1981, the daughter of actor/director Ron Howard has a lengthy list of film credits to her name, but her breakout role was Ivy Walker in M. Night Shyamalan‘s The Village.

The red-headed actress is becoming notorious for replacing actresses in sequels — she replaced Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in New Moon, Nicole Kidman as Grace in Manderlay, and Claire Danes as Kate Conner/Brewster in Terminator Salvation.

Howard, also a writer and director, married her NYU college sweetheart Seth Gabel in 2006 and eight months later, they welcomed a son, Theodore Norman Howard Gabel.

Howard’s next role is as Hilly Holbrook in the film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s bestselling novel The Help.
