Cassie Ventura, known as Cassie, is an American singer, dancer, actress and model. Ventura attended the Williams School, a private preparatory school in Connecticut. As a teenager, Ventura began her career in modeling, appearing in magazines like Seventeen and working with brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch and Target. Ventura met record producer Ryan Leslie in 2004, who signed her to NextSelection Lifestyle Group. Two years later, she released her debut single, “Me & U,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Ventura was in a long-term relationship with rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs from 2007 to 2018. After their split, Ventura began dating personal trainer Alex Fine in late 2018. She and Fine tied the knot in September 2019. They later welcomed two daughters: Frankie (born December 2019) and Sunny (born March 2021). Ventura announced in 2025 that she was pregnant with baby No. 3. She gave birth in May 2025, less than two weeks after testifying in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial. (He denied all accusations and pleaded not guilty.)

In November 2023, Ventura filed a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of rape and physical abuse during their relationship. Diddy denied her allegations, and the pair settled the lawsuit out of court shortly thereafter. In May 2024, a resurfaced video showed Diddy assaulting Ventura, leading to public discussions about their past relationship. The rapper issued a public apology for his actions. In September 2024, Diddy was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all the charges.
