Diddy

Sean Combs, a.k.a. Diddy, grew up in Mount Vernon, N.Y. He attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he interned at Uptown Records and was promoted to an A&R executive. Soon after, he left to form Bad Boy Records where he signed rapper Notorious B.I.G. and produced hits for major artists including Janet Jackson.

After meeting Jennifer Lopez on the set of a music video, the two dated for two years before splitting in 2001. Diddy shared children Quincy, Christian and twin daughters Jesse and D’Lila with Kim Porter, who died from pneumonia in November 2018.

The music mogul shares son Justin with ex Misa Hylton and daughter Chance with ex Sarah Chapman. Diddy announced that he welcomed his seventh child, a baby girl named Love Sean Combs, in December 2022 but did not reveal her mother’s identity.

Diddy has been sued by multiple exes for sexual assault, among other charges, and settled with his ex, Cassie Ventura, on one such case, out of court.

In September 2024, he was arrested in New York City and indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, with allegations dating back to 2009. In July 2025, Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but he was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
