Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter is an actress most well known for her role as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She was born and raised in Las Vegas and worked odd jobs before moving to Los Angeles in 1992.

Carpenter was discovered while working part time to pay her college tuition. She soon landed numerous minor roles and starred in commercials before landing her first TV role as Wendie Sanders in an episode of Baywatch. She also made appearances on Boy Meets World and had a recurring role on Malibu Shores as Ashley Green before her big break.

Carpenter was cast as Cordelia Chase on the hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997, and it was this role that made her a household name. She reprised her role on the spinoff series Angel. Carpenter has continued to make appearances in various TV shows and movies throughout the years, and most recently made an appearance in the television series Dynasty. In 2023, she joined the podcast Slayers: A Buffyverse Story as Cordelia.

In 2002, the actress wed Damian Hardy and the following year gave birth to their son Donovan Charles. The couple finalized their divorce in 2008.
