
Frances Bean Cobain
Frances Bean Cobain is a visual artist and the daughter of ’90s rockers Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Frances was primarily raised by her grandmother and aunts following the death of her father in 1994. She went on to study art at Bard College in New York.
Frances began making a name for herself in the art world in her early 20s. In 2010, under the pseudonym Fiddle Tim, she debuted her work in a group exhibit in Los Angeles. She later showcased her work in exhibits under her real name. In addition to her visual work, she has modeled for publications like Elle and brands such as Marc Jacobs.
In 2015, she served as an executive producer on the HBO documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.
Frances married musician Isaiah Silva in 2014. The couple divorced in 2017 after a legal battle that included disputes over one of Kurt Cobain’s guitars. In October 2023, she married Riley Hawk, son of skateboarder Tony Hawk. The couple welcomed son Ronin Walker in 2024.
