
Glenn Howerton
Glenn Howerton is an actor, writer and producer best known for cocreating and starring as Dennis Reynolds on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Howerton graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery, Alabama, before going on to attend the Juilliard School in New York City, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama.
Howerton began his on-screen career in the early 2000s with guest roles on shows like The Job and That ’80s Show, where he played Corey Howard. In 2005, he co-created It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia alongside Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day, which became one of the longest-running live action sitcoms in U.S. television history.
In addition to It’s Always Sunny, Howerton starred in The Mindy Project and led the NBC sitcom A.P. Bio from 2018 to 2021. On the big screen, he has appeared in films such as Coffee Town (2013), The Hunt (2020) and BlackBerry (2023), the latter of which earned him critical acclaim. He also cohosts “The Always Sunny Podcast” with McElhenney and Day.
Howerton married actress Jill Latiano in 2009. The couple has two sons, Miles (born in 2011) and Isley (born in 2014).
