About

Jack Harlow (born Jackman Thomas Harlow) is a Grammy-nominated rapper, singer and songwriter. Harlow began rapping at age 12 and sold his recorded mixtapes in middle school. He later began doing live performances, selling out small venues in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky which helped build his audience.

Harlow released his first EP, The Handsome Harlow, in 2015. He went on to release a handful of singles and EPs. His rise to fame came with the release of his 2020 mixtape Sweet Action and the viral success of his single “What’s Poppin,” which led to a record deal with Generation Now and Atlantic Records. The song reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and earned him his first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. He followed up with his debut studio album That’s What They All Say (2020), which featured hit tracks like “Tyler Herro” and the “Whats Poppin” remix, which featured Lil Wayne, Dababy and Tory Lanez.

In 2022, Harlow released his sophomore album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, which included the chart-topping hit “First Class.” He released his record Jackman in 2023. The following year, he created Gazebo Festival, a two-day music festival hosted in Louisville which he headlined with SZA.

The rapper has also had a handful of on screen appearances and made his acting debut in the 2023 comedy White Men Can’t Jump.

Harlow has been previously linked to Dua Lipa but has kept his dating life relatively private.
