Jana Duggar

Born in Arkansas in 1990, Jana Marie Duggar is the second child and first daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. (She has a twin brother, John-David.) Jana is best known for her time on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting. She also appeared on Counting On, which documented the lives of her younger sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar.

While living at home, Jana documented her gardening hobby on social media, and she took up home remodeling. In 2020, she began remodeling her parents’ bedroom.

Jana made headlines in December 2021 when news broke that she was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor three months prior. The former TLC personality, who pleaded not guilty, described the incident as “a case of a child slipping out of the house when you turn your back for a moment.”

Following years of staying single, Jana’s engagement to now-husband Stephen Wissmann made headlines in August 2024. The couple tied the knot that month in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. One year later, they announced Jana was pregnant with their first baby. Jana gave birth to son Archie in December 2025.
