Jessica Seinfeld

Jessica Seinfeld (born Nina Danielle Sklar) is an author and philanthropist. Jessica grew up in Burlington, Vermont, and graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in communications. After graduating, she spent time working in public relations for high profile fashion brands such as Tommy Hilfiger.

Jessica gained attention in the mid-2000s with the release of her debut cookbook Deceptively Delicious in 2007, which focused on incorporating healthy ingredients into kid-friendly meals and reached No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list. She later went on to publish several more cookbooks, including Double Delicious (2010), The Can’t Cook Book (2013), Food Swings (2017) and Vegan, at Times (2021).

In 2024, she published Not Too Sweet, a cookbook featuring healthy dessert recipes.

The author has also been involved in philanthropy and launched the GOOD+ Foundation (originally Baby Buggy) in 2001, a nonprofit that provides goods and services to families in need.

Jessica was briefly married to Eric Nederlander before Nederlander filed for divorce in 1998. She began dating comedian Jerry Seinfeld the following year, and the couple tied the knot in December 1999. The couple share three children: daughter Sascha (born in 2000) and sons Julian (born in 2003) and Shepherd (born in 2005).
