Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts is an American actress and producer best known for her roles in blockbuster films such as Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovich. Julia spent her childhood in Smyrna, Georgia, alongside siblings Eric Roberts and Lisa Roberts Gillan. She attended Campbell High School and later moved to New York to pursue acting full time.

Julia’s early career began with various television roles and small film appearances in the mid-1980s. She gained widespread attention with her breakout role in Mystic Pizza (1988) and achieved international fame after portraying Vivian Ward in the romcom Pretty Woman (1990). Her performance in the film established her as one of Hollywood’s leading actresses, and she later starred in films like My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997), Notting Hill (1999), Ocean’s Eleven (2001) and August: Osage County (2013). Some of her later appearances include Ticket to Paradise (2022) and After the Hunt (2025).

Throughout her career, Julia has received multiple awards, including an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Erin Brockovich (2000), three Golden Globe Awards and a BAFTA Award.

The actress married cinematographer Daniel Moder in 2002. The couple share twins Phinnaeus and Hazel (born in 2004) and son Henry (born in 2007). She previously dated Benjamin Bratt from 1998 to 2001.
