Kathryn Hahn

Kathryn Hahn is an actress known for her wide-ranging work across film and television, spanning comedy, drama and genre projects. Hahn spent her childhood in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She attended Beaumont School, an all-girls Catholic high school, before earning a bachelor’s degree in theater from Northwestern University. She later received her master’s degree in drama from the Yale School of Drama, where she focused on stage acting and classical training before moving into screen roles.

After completing her education, Hahn began her career with theater work and small television appearances. Her first major breakthrough came in 2001 when she was cast as Lily Lebowski on the NBC crime drama Crossing Jordan. She remained on the series for six seasons, gaining steady exposure and establishing herself as a reliable supporting presence on television while continuing to pursue film roles.

Hahn went on to appear in a mix of studio comedies and independent films, including How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Step Brothers (2008), Bad Moms (2016) and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022). On television, she earned critical attention for her performances in Transparent and Mrs. Fletcher, with the former earning her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Her role as Agatha Harkness in Marvel’s WandaVision marked a major career milestone, earning her a Golden Globe nomination and leading to the spinoff series Agatha All Along. In 2025, she joined the cast of The Studio as Maya Mason.

Hahn married actor and producer Ethan Sandler in 2002. The couple have two children, son Leonard (born in 2006) and daughter Mae (born in 2009).
