Kit Harington

Christopher Catesby Harington, known by fans for his iconic role as Jon Snow on the HBO hit fantasy series “Game of Thrones”, was born in London on December 26, 1986. He took an interest in acting as a teenager after watching a production of the Samuel Beckett play “Waiting for Godot.” The experience inspired him to begin acting regularly in school plays. Harington went on to enroll in drama school. Shortly after, Harington won the role of Jon Snow.

After a lengthy period of shooting, “Game of Thrones” eventually debuted in 2011, for which Harington received nominations for a Golden Globe Award and two Primetime Emmy Awards. Harington would eventually marry his “GOT” on-screen love interest, Rose Leslie in 2018. The couple shares two children.

Harington has gone on to appear in projects such as “Pompeii” (2014), “Brimstone” (2016), and voices Eret in the animated franchise “How to Train Your Dragon”. Harington has recently been a part of another epic franchise as Dane Whitman in Marvel Studios’ “Eternals” (2021).
