Lauren Jauregui

Lauren Jauregui is a singer and songwriter best known as a former member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. Jauregui was born in Miami, Florida. She attended Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart where she studied vocal techniques, drama and music theory.

Jauregui rose to fame in 2012 when she competed on the second season of The X Factor USA. She was grouped with Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Camila Cabello to form Fifth Harmony. The group signed with Syco Music and Epic Records and released multiple albums, including Reflection (2015) and 7/27 (2016), which featured hits like “Worth It” and “Work From Home.” After Cabello’s departure in 2016, the group released a self-titled album in 2017 before going on indefinite hiatus in 2018.

During her time with Fifth Harmony, Jauregui launched a solo career. She released collaborations with artists like Halsey, Steve Aoki and Ty Dolla $ign before dropping her debut solo EP, Prelude, in 2021. This release was followed by In Between in 2023.

Outside of music, the singer has made appearances on shows such as The Late Late Show With James Corden and Good Morning America. In 2025, she joined season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, partnering with pro Brandon Armstrong.

Jauregui identifies as bisexual and has been open about her sexuality in both her music and activism. Jauregui publicly dated Ty Dolla $ign from 2017 to 2019. She later moved on with dancer Sasha Malloy from 2023 to 2024.
