
Luke Macfarlane
Luke Macfarlane is a Canadian actor and singer best known for his roles in romantic comedies and his TV work. Macfarlane grew up in Ontario and developed an interest in acting early on. He went on to study drama at The Juilliard School in New York.
Macfarlane’s breakout role came with the television series Brothers & Sisters, where he portrayed Scotty Wandell, a closeted soldier. His performance earned him significant recognition, and he went on to appear in films like Kinsey (2004) and The Memory Book (2014).
He became a Hallmark Channel favorite with roles in films like The Mistletoe Promise (2016) and A Valentine’s Match (2020). After becoming a go-to lead for the network’s romantic films, he went on to appear in films such as Moriah’s Lighthouse (2022) and Romance in the Air (2023). In 2024, he joined the cast of Invincible, lending his voice to the character Rick.
Macfarlane publicly came out as gay in 2008 and has kept his personal life largely private. In 2023, he welcomed a daughter with partner Hig Roberts.
