Matt Leinart

Matt Leinart is a former NFL quarterback best known for winning the 2004 Heisman Trophy at USC and later becoming a college football analyst for FOX Sports. Leinart attended Mater Dei High School, where he was named California Gatorade High School Football Player of the Year in 2001. He went on to attend the University of Southern California, where he played for the Trojans from 2001 to 2005.

Leinart became one of college football’s top quarterbacks at USC, leading the Trojans to consecutive national championships and winning the Heisman Trophy in 2004. He went on to play for the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders before moving into sports broadcasting.

Leinart was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2017 and has worked as a college football studio analyst for FOX Sports since 2015.

Leinart shares a son, Cole (born in 2006), with former USC basketball player Brynn Cameron. He wed actress Josie Loren in 2018, and the pair share three children: Cayson (born in 2020), Cannon (born in 2021) and Camila (born in 2025).
