
Matthew Morrison
Born in 1978, Matthew Morrison decided he wanted to become an actor after attending theater camp as a child. He enrolled in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he studied musical theater, vocal performance and dance.
He began his Broadway career when he was cast as Link Larkin in Hairspray. He went on to act in The Light in the Piazza, for which he was nominated a Tony Award, and later received a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Musical for 10 Million Miles.
Morrison has had roles in the films I Think I Love My Wife and Music and Lyrics. He has guest starred in CSI: Miami and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Currently, Morrison plays a high school teacher in the Fox series Glee. He is engaged to longtime girlfriend Renee Puente.
