Meek Mill

Born Robert Rihmeek Williams, Meek Mill grew up as a shy kid in Philadelphia. He started rapping as a teenager in a group called The Bloodhoundz and signed to T.I.’s label, Grand Hustle Records, in 2008.

After switching to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, Mill released his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, in 2012. Later that year, he switched labels again, this time to start his own imprint, Dream Chasers Records, named after his early mixtapes.

To date, Mill has released three more albums: 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money, 2017’s Wins & Losses and 2018’s Championships, the latter of which received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. He has toured with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Future in addition to recording music with Drake, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and more artists.

Mill has two sons with Fahimah Raheem and a third son with Milan Harris. He also famously dated Minaj from 2015 to 2017.

Mill has had a number of run-ins with the law over the years. In 2017, he was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating his parole. He was released after five months, and a Pennsylvania court later overturned his 2008 conviction in a drug and gun case. He has since been a vocal advocate for prison reform.
