Megan Hilty
About
Megan Hilty is an actress and singer known for her role as Ivy Lynn in the NBC musical drama Smash, which she starred in alongside Katharine McPhee from 2012 to 2013.
She also rose to fame as a stage actor, playing Glinda in Wicked from 2005 to 2009 on Broadway, in the show’s North American tour and at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. She also played the role of Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical, which was on Broadway in 2009. Hilty’s other New York City theater roles include Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (2012), Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun (2015), Brooke Ashton in Noises Off (2016) and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (2018).
She has been married to fellow actor Brian Gallagher since 2013. They welcomed a daughter, Viola Philomena, in September 2014 and a son, Ronan Laine, in March 2017.
In November 2024, Hilty began starring as Madeline Ashton in Death Becomes Her on Broadway.
